Hey! :) I'll give metal!! And Fan! I just need to know how to do the next step... Question asks to use the quadratic formula to solve the equation.. 4x^2 - 6x - 10 = 0 So far I know that you can take the gcf of 2.. ~2(2x^2 - 3x - 5)

if u can't find the answer, try using this formula : \[x=\frac{ (-b)\pm \sqrt{b ^{2}-4ac} }{ 2a }\]

Im trying to factor this equation first.. Sorry I should have said something about that.

\[4x ^{2}-6x-10=0\] using that formula: \[x=\frac{ 6\pm \sqrt{36+160} }{ 8 }\] \[x=\frac{ 6\pm \sqrt{196} }{ 8 }\] \[x=\frac{ 6\pm14 }{ 8 }\] \[x=\frac{ 20 }{ 8 }=2,5\] or \[x=\frac{ -8 }{ 8 }=1\]

Im not looking for what x.. lol
