What is the maximum number of relative extrema contained in the graph of this function? f(x)=3x^3-x^2+4x-2
To find the maximum number of relative extrema work out the derivative, set to 0 and solve. f(x)=3x⁵-x³+4x-2 f'(x)=15x^4-3x^2+4 15x^4-3x^2+4=0 has no real roots. So the answer is 0.
do that help u
@TheRealMeeeee Your last post is plagiarism, your taking someone's else work from a previous OS question asked.

Smarter? My answer's have gotten chosen over yours, for many reasons. First would be grammar, second would be because I explain in detail, and probably because I don't copy and paste previous post, which some times are wrong.
