Simplify (n+2)!/n!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

WolframAlpha says the answer is (n+1)(n+2). However, I need to show my work. I'm thinking [(n)(n+1)(n+2)]/n. the n's cancel each other out, leaving just (n+1)(n+2). Is this correct thinking?

OpenStudy (bibby):

the cancellation if the right idea. you can rewrite the top bit as |dw:1386394470287:dw|
