PLEASE HELP ME !!!! A 500.0 mL stock solution of copper sulfate (1.00 x 10-4 M) was prepared using 0.1 M sulfuric acid to dissolve the solid. The above stock solution was then used to prepare three standard solutions with the following concentrations: 1.00 x 10-6 M, 5.00 x 10-6 M and 1.00 x 10-5 M (final volume of each was 50.0 mL). In addition to the stock solution, each standard solution contained the following: • 25 mL of sodium acetate (0.4 M) • 0.1 M sulfuric acid to top up to the final volume of each standard

might want to post the question, and are you with cava?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is Cava ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do I go about preparing the solutions from the stock solution ?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Use \[m _{1}v _{1}=m _{2}v _{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did but for some reason since it says that it also includes 2 other solutions that add to the volume it feels like it is wrong. Or does that not matter ?
