i know what is the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay here it is . The twentieth century–and the 1960s in particular–saw a proliferation of independence movements among former European colonies in Africa and Asia. Why do you think countries wanted independence? In what ways did these countries' struggles for independence mirror the American struggle for independence from Britain? How were they different?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.The people became wise to the western ways and wanted some of the action for themselves and a chance to run their own countries, in short.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why they wanted independence: They wanted to control the destiny of their OWN country and of their own lives. You see, the ones who invaded the countries used the native labour and economy for the benefit of their own nation.
