OpenStudy (shamil98):

How do i find the vertex of this ? x^2 = 12y

OpenStudy (shamil98):

is it just (0,0) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shamil is right. The vertex is (0,0). If its vertex were not at the origin, it would look something like this: (x-3)^2 = 12(y+1) where the -3 and 1 would mean the vertex moves 3 units to the right and one unit down. (Of course, those two numbers I added are just examples; they could really be any two numbers.)

OpenStudy (shamil98):

alright thanks
