well we know that NaCl is an ionic compound. table salt to be specific. we know the chemical equation is Na+Cl=NaCl so you will get a 3.5mol of NaCl. its a 1/1 ratio.. and so your Cl2 is your limiting reactant.. if you have only 2.0mol of Na then the answer would be 2.0mol of NaCl.. hopefully that clears it up.
