Please help me with classifying reactions and balancing some equations! ____HCl + ____NaOH ------> ____NaCl + ____H2O Type of Reaction: Why?:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation is already balanced and it is a neutralization reaction because the acid and the base form a salt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see, mind helping me on one other?

. ____AgNO3 + ____NaCl ------> ____AgCl + ____NaNO3 Type of Reaction: Why?:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about you try this one on your own, and i'll tell you if you're right. You'll learn it better that way :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, well basically there are six questions and Ive solved the equation part; Just those two I wasn't sure about. And I keep getting frustrated cause I don't understand the types of reactions or how to tell what kind of reaction is going on...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well alright, the equation is already balanced and it's a double displacement reaction because ab+cd --> ad + cb , there are 2 displacements

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So its a double Displacement because the elements were switched?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@qwertyqwert321 Do you mind helping me classify the other reactions? I have them all balanced but I still need help with the reaction part
