Make salt water?

OpenStudy (rina.r):

Water dissolves sodium chloride because the positive part of water molecules attracts the negative chloride ions and the negative part of water molecules attracts the positive sodium ions. The polarity of water molecules enables water to dissolve many ionically bonded substances. Polar molecule has an uneven charge distribution. http://www.ask.com/question/why-does-sodium-chloride-dissolve-in-water
