Which will cause the value of the equilibrium constant to change? increasing the pressure changing the temperature increasing the concentration of reactants increasing the concentration of products
@ChemGrey
A OR B
Equilibrium constant, by Le Chatelier's principle, will be affected by change in concentration definitly if the reaction proceeds in a reduction of no. of molecules like N2+3H2 --> 2NH3 i.e. 4 molecules react to give 2 molecules then change in pressure influences the Equilibrium constant and also the direction of the reaction. if the reaction proceeds in a liberation or absorption of energy like 2CO + O2 --> 2CO2 + 121kJ of heat.. ( the value of heat is an example) i.e. heat is liberated then change in teperature influences the Equilibrium constant and also the direction of reaction. hence all the options are true.
A or B change the EQUILIBRIUM CONSTANT. Reactant and product concentrations change each other, but not the constant.
