The Ideal Gas Law is given by PV = nRT , where P is pressure, V is volume in liters, T is temperature is Kelvin-degrees, n is the number of moles of the gas (a fixed number of particles) and R is constant. When mass and temperature are held constant, what is the relation between volume and pressure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the other things are constant then think of the equation as \(PV=k\) where \(k>0\). then if \(p\uparrow\), \(v\downarrow\) proportionally so that k stays the same.
