excuse me... cud u tell me a plc where i cud find how to prove the law of reflection with huygen's principle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its pretty easy.. if u understand the principle u know :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha :P I do understnd d principle, bt i rmembr i was taught a way to do it with similarity of triangles. if sm1 cud point that out...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea.. u do it by similarity itself.. can u draw a picture and then we ll work it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. gimme 3 mins

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

quite troublesome doing it in d draw option right nw :P ... sent the diagram though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1388912719604:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry sorry.. i was away.. looks a lil shabby.. can u make out the traingles by th way?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u havet to consider triangle ABC and BDC

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u see how angle B is equal to angle of incidence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

similarly angle C in triange BDC is angle of reflection

OpenStudy (anonymous):

prove the traingles are similar and thus i = r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay since the base is also the same & theres that 90 degree angle right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

angles in both the triangles*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a'ight. i dunno why i messed up in dis simple stuff. dont work well under pressure i guess haha. revising for ma CBSE board exam

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh then your textbook has this thing right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it has it but it doesnt do much explaining -_-'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohw.. i have seen that textbook :P.. ur CBSE textbook has a lot of unnecessarily complicated stuff in it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You dont say :P I just noted down the concepts to be done & m doing the derivations that r usually asked. solving numericals from the net

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright.. all the best.. study hard! ;-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

infact most of my learning is done from the net. i hardly use the text book :P Just some definitions maybe. *yes, thanks again :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats nice.. u preparing for JEE too?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup i pitty my own condition right now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol.. relax.. take a breether :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 month back there were some topics left (ones i shud've actually covered long back for boards... ) In my effort to learn those, i m tending to forget wut i had already mastered b4hand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not like i have d boards tom or smthn, i hv a long time, no rush bt sheesh, its irritating whn dis happens. learn smthn new, forget smthn u already knw :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you won't forget core concepts if u have learnt them well man.. so don't be afraid.. it ll come to you when u review them!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hm... thats quite odd, becz it ws my belief long back too, but dis last prelims i seemed to forget a big bunch during the test. maybe i need to revise a bit of evrythn each day?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ofcourse.. don't just stick to one subject per day or so.. do a lil of each everydya.. and usually what happens is.. we tend to learn chapterwise.. and so when we are asked to recall everything all together, panic strikes.. so while studying take a bunch of chapters together and learn for example if u are doing some derivation practice.. do random derivations from different different chapters one by one..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hm... that sounds promising. i'll take a note of that(literally) & yeah i do panic :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wut do u advise me to do d day b4 d exam itself?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

very important question.. i always tell my students.. to not overdo it just before the exam.. like 3 or 4 days before exam.. u should eat well, (nothing junk or stuff, we want proper health now don't we? :P), and take proper rest.. no studying till late at night, or getting up way earlier than usual.. all that counts, because u need ur brain to be in a very good condition. So that it is able to reason and think efficiently WHILE in the exam hall. so i always say.. take it easy couple of days before the exam..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hm... so basically i shud learn my chapters b4 hand so well, that i dont have to sit & look thru each detail b4 the exam day, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea. before exam.. just review the concepts already learnt.. don't try to do learn something you have never seen before and waste time on it.. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*i am concerned as heck abt my health :P into bodyweight training & stuff :) :P no junk, just lots of healthy veggies. **Got that! :P haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in that case.. just before exam.. don't over train or exert urself :P.. say for example a chick walks into your gym.. impress her after the exam ok? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha XD Naah. Bruh, i dont lift, no gym. I go to the park to train. Free style bodyweight training. called calisthenics. not any low on muscle gains though XD but yea, i do see chicks at the park. will have to just focus on skill work b4 exams :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha.. yea.. free style huh.. thats great.. anyways.. i gotta scoot now.. !! i see u are new here.. so.. if u are done with one question close it.. only then u can ask another one.. ok.. see ya around!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. got that. me too, gotta get lost. lotta work 2day :3
