At the market you purchase some apples and oranges. There were 12 items purchased. You buy twice as many apples as oranges. a. Define the variables. b. Write an algebraic equation using one variable for the above situation. c. Solve this equation for the number of apples and oranges you purchase
I honestly don't know this, I know I'm stupid lol...
What would you say the variables are?? Remember we put variables for what we don't know.

A letter representing a number that can change depending on the other numbers in an equation
uhm apple is A and orange is O?
You could do that or you could use X and Y which are the usual variables.
X and Y then i guess idk...
