HELLLLLPPPPPP !!! WANT A MEDAL???? For the function f(x) = x + 4, what is the ordered pair for the point on the graph when x = 3p? (x, x + 4) (x, 3p + 4) (3p, x + 4) (3p, 3p + 4)

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

(x, 3p + 4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain please

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

or maybe (3p, 3p + 4) since x = 3p...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe the correct answer would be (3p, x+4). Hope this helps.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

I think it is the first one. Since x = 3p, you plug 3p into the function to get 3p + 4 The ordered pair consists of the value of the variable, plus the solution for the equation

OpenStudy (tester97):

its c because f(x) just means y so therefore u have ur y coordinate and when it says x=3p that just plainly gave you the x coordinate. so the answer would be (3p,x+4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx tester for actually explaining and not just giving me the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it's definitely (3p, x+4). I did the work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thnx

OpenStudy (tester97):

ur welcome ^_^

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

IDK nevermind. In my opinion, it could be either of the four options...

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

sorry I wasn't any help :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its cool

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The answer is D.
