FACTOR THEOREM: If f(a)=0, (x-a) is a factor of f(x), and vice versa.

Building on KC's point. if x=2 is a zero of the function, then (x-2) is a factor. Use either synthetic division or long division to find the remaining equation so that it can be factored.
