What proof method does not require coordinate geometry? medals

OpenStudy (alekos):

algebraic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its Coordinate proof has coordinates and Alebraic doesn't?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@alekos

OpenStudy (alekos):

depends what you're trying to prove

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well im trying to get info for a school project this is what it says(Discuss the differences between a coordinate geometry proof and a proof method that does not require coordinate geometry. When would it be appropriate to use a coordinate proof rather than another proof method? Refer to your math writing journal entry Coordinate Proof. What example and explanation did you write about?)

OpenStudy (alekos):

i understand. a geometrical proof is one where you use diagrammatic representations to solve a mathematical problem. an algebraic proof does not require any diagrams, it is strictly equation based

Thank you for the help :)

OpenStudy (alekos):

no problem
