que

OpenStudy (phi):

one way is first change 4 ¾ into an improper fraction. then, to divide by 3, write 3 as ⅓ and multiply in other words \[ \frac{19}{4} \div3 = \frac{19}{4}\cdot \frac{1}{3}= \frac{19}{12} \] now simplify (change it back into a whole number and fraction)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sunny do you know how to (change it back into a whole number and fraction)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no xD

OpenStudy (phi):

divide 12 into 19. then find the remainder and put the remainder over 12

OpenStudy (phi):

12 goes into 19 1 time with a remainder of 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok......so 1/7......?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait nvm...thats totally off

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 7/12....?

OpenStudy (phi):

you get a whole number and a remainder. 1 for the whole number 7 for the remainder that means 1 and 7/12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty so much omg

OpenStudy (anonymous):
