Describle the rleatove orientantions of the orbitals related to an atom'es 2p sublevel?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Hello and welcome to OpenStudy. Unfortunately I did not get this far in chemistry. Maybe someone else can help you

OpenStudy (sinbearciante):

Simply said, there are three 2p orbitals (2px, 2py, 2pz) and each is perpendicular to the others. They each account for the atoms 2p electrons in that given spacial area (x, y, z). That is a very basic and generalized way to put it but if you need more in depth info about it (ie energies, wavefunctions, etc) let me know!
