OpenStudy (anonymous):

This equation is a line. In some texts Ax + By = C is called general form, in others, standard form. A, B, and C can be any real numbers. Usually, it is preferred to have integers. To do that, we can multiply by thirty to get rid if the denominators, and rearrange to standard form.\[-\frac{3x}{2}=-\frac{2y}{5}-\frac{10}{3} \implies 45x=12y+100 \implies 45x-12y=100\]

Note that we can get standard form easier by just moving the y term to the left side of the equation, but it looks messier with fractions in all three terms.\[-\frac{3x}{2}=-\frac{2y}{5}-\frac{10}{3} \implies \frac{3x}{2}-\frac{2y}{5}=\frac{10}{3}\]

thank you :)
