"Six o’clock. The burnt-out ends of smoky days. And now a gusty shower wraps The grimy scraps Of withered leaves about your feet And newspapers from vacant lots;" What is the above describing? I have read the poem and I am thinking that it describes a rainstorm in a city. The only other plausible answer is a windstorm in a city.

it is a windy day in Chicago i have read this before

windstorm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

'gusty' shower

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, but a rainstorm can also include high winds. Oh well, I guess your answer fits it best.
