Treble clef is different from the bass clef? True or false?
The reason music uses "clefs" is to differentiate between ranges of notes. There are actually more than these two clefs, but Bass and Treble are two common ones. Both the staffs are based on distance from what is called "middle C," which is the C in the middle of a piano. Middle C is one line below the Treble staff and one line above the Bass staff. So if you started on the bottom-most line of the Bass staff with G and counted all the way up to the top line of the Treble staff which is F, there's a straight line of notes, all of which represent individual pitches. This is why you can't write an E on the Treble staff and want to hear a low E, because that written note would sound higher
