Please help!

You know 3 of these answers are obviously nonsense. Give it a try, which one is definitely not the answer at all?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it C?

thomaster (thomaster):

You think C is definitely NOT the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, I think C IS the answer.

thomaster (thomaster):

Alright :) But the real goal of this question is to know why are A, B and D not the answer. Do you know why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah (: Is C the answer?

thomaster (thomaster):

Perhaps, can you explain why you think C is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because, the white blood cells fight off pathogens, and it will kill off the infection (:

thomaster (thomaster):

Yea you could say it that way. The way I would say it: A can't be the answer because the respiratory system involves the lungs. The question doesn't say anything about the location of the parasite. B can't be the answer because insulin is a protein that lowers the blood sugar level, it doesn't fight parasites. And D can't be the answer because you don't want the parasite transported to the stomach, you want to kill it :)
