A pair of congruent angles are two angles that are the same in both figures; basically the matching angles. They don't have to be on the same size of lines, or pointing in the same direction; only the size of the angle has to be the same. In this example we can find the congruent angles by 'matching up' the two shapes. When we do that we get: Q matches C R matches D T matches B and S matches E So: Our congruent angle pairs are: Angle TQR and Angle BCD Angle QRS and Angle CDE Angle RST and Angle DEB Angle STQ and Angle EBC
