OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

WZ and XR are diameters. What is the measure of ZWX?

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

If anybody is having difficulty reading the angles they are 86 and 34

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

I understand where youre coming from, however your conclusion, 73 degrees, is not an answer choice. Unless there are steps after finding out that.

OpenStudy (nikato):

Is 56 one of ur answer choice???

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

Nope! I can choose from the following; a)214 b)266 c)60 d)300

OpenStudy (nikato):

Wait, this makes no sense. Either ur diagram or answers r incorrect. ZWX is not obtuse or doesn't look like it so it can be greater than 180 which is most of ur choice

OpenStudy (nikato):

Oh, is it arc ZWX?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yepp...youre right nikato

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was thinking the angle

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

Arc ZWX... sorry that i didnt include that info :/

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

my bad..

OpenStudy (nikato):

Oh ok. Since its a diameter < XCW+YCX+ZCY should =180. With substitution, u get 34+xCY+86=180 and that angle would = 60

OpenStudy (nikato):

By the arc addition theorem, 60+86=146 and becuz <XCZ is a central angle arc XYZ also is 146

OpenStudy (nikato):

And a circle is 360. So to find ZWX, 360-146
