OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is slope (4,5) ?and (4,5) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't see the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when finding the slope, you can use rise/run method or you could use the formula y2-y1 ------ x2-x1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so 4-4 ---- 5-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to see the graph or the points you are talking about, the above link is broken

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B (3, 0) E (4, 5) so it would be 5-0 5 ---- = ---- = 5 --- that is the slope for point BE 4-3 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you find the slope for AE A (0, 0) E (4, 5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A (5,0) 5 ----- = - E (4,5) 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no use the formula y2-y1 ------ x2-x1 A(0, 0) (x1,y1) E(4, 5) (x2,y2) try again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5,0 5 --- = - 4,0 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, I suck at this :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is correct, now put the 2 slopes in a fraction mode 5 --- 5 - 4 from here all you need to do is the reverse 5/4 and multiply it when reverse 5/4 it would be 4/5 so 5*4/5 = 20/5 = 4
