Which of the following functions like a fulcrum in a lever? A. tendons connecting muscle to bone at a joint. B. ligaments connecting bones at a joint. C. two muscles working as a pair to move a joint. D. two bones meeting at a joint.
Two bones meeting at a joint.
the best thing i can tell you is think of it like a tettertodder the thing in the middle is the fulcrum
thats what i was thinking but i didnt know how the ligs and tendons worked
I think it is B. I don't think the last one is the answer because two bones would not be the actual fulcrum... it's more like the load.
into this prob
What do you think the answer is?
right because thyd just bend
like an elbow
there needs to be leverage
So do you think it is B?
When the muscles contract, the bones are moved around the pivot formed by the joint. Granted, it is not stationary like a see-saw fulcrum but it is similar. A, B., and C are even less like the fulcrum.
Okay...I'll look into it.
cool now this was fun and worth trying to figure out
Yes.
yeah now that i think of it in answer b the mucle pulls the bone or joint both ways
and the answer is?
I haven't put it in yet. I'll try to do more research online.
Picture our arm picking something up. The joint serves the same role as the fulcrum if you had used a lever to pick the object up.
Okay. Thanks for your help guys! Bye!
answer b haha kk good luck
Ligaments I believe.
what is the answer
