Aluminum Chloride reacts with something that can react with HCl to Ammonium Chloride (that's Ammonia, right? ) I need the balanced equation of AlCl3 and NH3 (is water included? there's no statement about that in the task) quick answer plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's not AlCl3 + NH3 ---> 3HCl + AlN , is it? ^^"

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I think water is involved because ammonia gas has to react with water to react with AlCl3. So it would be(unbalanced) AlCl3 + NH3.H2O --> Al(OH)3 + NH4Cl or NH3.H2O can be written as NH3 + H2O
