How does a colonial protist differ from a unicellular one? How do the cells of a multicellular protist differ from a colonial protist?

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Unicellular organisms are single celled and self sufficient Multicellular organisms are composed of many cell and there is usually some for of division of labor among the cell eg. tissue, organs, organ systems. Colonial protist are protist that live in groups of cells and may display different degrees of organization and dependency. Generally they can exist when separated from colony but will reform a new colony. <- first one and second one ~yahoo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multicellular protist do not exist cause protista itself is a group of unicellular eukaryotic organisms...colonial protist are those which stays with a group of unicellular similar organisms together in a place forming a colony..
