express q=3-x+2x^2+5x^3 falling powers in terms of rising powers ... can anyone help me understand on how to set this up ... or solve it and hopefully I should be able to study the solution to get an understanding of you you set it up? ... Falling and Rising are bases of polynomials ... linear algebra ...thanks tom.

\[3-x+2x^2+5x^3\]?

Hello Nameless ... thanks for your interest ... these are bases of polynomials, the polynomial is currently shown with respect to the falling powers base and we are asked to express it with respect to the rising powers base ... hope that clarifies this a bit ... linear algebra.

ahh .. have not taken linear yet. sorry.

Thanks anyway for your interest.
