NEED HELP SUPER FAST WILL FANN AND GIVE MEDAL :D Which completely describes the polygon? A. regular B. equilateral C. equiangular The picture to this question is in this link >>>>>> http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/243500_244000/243615/1/f79c8cfb2bcb689b77d13bf06380915e95d58b2c/VHS_PA_S2_03_L207_L307_Q1.gif

regular

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Terrible question. Should say "Which more completely describes the polygon?" "Regular" doesn't tell me how many sides it has.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

neither do the others... regular tells that it is equilateral and equiangular

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In my book, "regular" doesn't completely describe anything.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

regular means that all angles are the same and all side lengths are the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its equangular... you didnt give exact deminsions but all polygons are equangular... in one way or another... btw for future refference there are 3 different types of olygons

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes yes yes...i know. but the question is poorly worded. it should say "more completely" rather than "completely"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

equiangular doesn't completely describe it though... it only describes the angles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why are you arguing with me? I agree the answer is regular. I'm complaining about the poorly worded question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thats true but there are 3 different types of polygons and all of them can be described as equangular

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, not all can be described as equiangular... equiangular means all angles are equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

regular does not describe the 3 types of a polygon and since she did not specify i say it has to be the one that CAN sopport all 3 wouldnt you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, i would say that it would be the one that describes the ONE shape she showed.. and the one that most COMPLETELY describes it is regular, while equiangular only describes one characteristic of the shape @torchriswil

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are the three types of polygons that you are talking about?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what grade are you in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you know i do agree with you to some extent but i am not going to argue anymore we both justified our answers and so @linn99123 can decide... btw you are verry smart and thanks for making me justify myself and i think you may be right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i am technically in 8th grade but i take albebra 2 over the computer through odessy ware

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok cool thanks... im in 11th grade and in pre calculus, and its been fun :) we should have more debates like this :P XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol it was fun

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^_^ ttyl :)
