what is the mass in kilograms of a iceberg? With the volume of 8855ft3?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Welcome to OpenStudy. First, you will need the density of ice. Since I think you are still learning the basics, take d=1 for water/ice although this is an approximate. Then use the formula d=m/V

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 1=kg/8855 ft3

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Ohhhh one more thing. The one I gave you is for kg/m^3. The one for lb/ft^2 is 57.2.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

So you can either 1) convert your volume to m^3 first and use the first density, or 2) use the second density and then convert to kg
