Rolling an even number on a die, then rolling it again to get a five.. Independent? Mutually Exclusive?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The rolls are independent events. If you have a 2 and want to roll a 5 to get a total of 7, then the probability of making your seven, given your 2, is 1/6 as any side of the die is equally likely to come up.

so is it Independent? and Mutually Exclusive?

OpenStudy (doc.brown):

Mutually Exclusive probability of A and B is zero.

OpenStudy (doc.brown):

Mutual, done by each to each Exclusive, limited to own value
