How do I find the circumference of a circle with a 8cm radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The radius is HALF the diameter. Thus, it follows that you should just multiply the radius length by two to find diameter. In this case, the diameter is 16cm and you said you know how to find the circumference so I won't explain that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Isn't radius half of acircle and the circumfrence is the whole length. so 8+8=16cm

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

nope.... the circumference is \[C = 2 \ \pi \ r \]

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

where r is the radius pi is a constant which is 22/7 or 3.14 approximately...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you break that down @***[ISURU]*** ? I don't understand.
