Anyone know how to solve this? (x^-2/3)^9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x^a)^b = x^ab Raising x^a to power b means raising it to the power ab, the product of the two. Use this principle here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You just multiply the powers. x^(-2/3 * 9/1) or x^-18/3 or simplified to x^-6

Right.

Thank you both so much
