how do I shift on a Scientific Calculator?
I need to use reverse sine (-1)
Sorry I don't know, try searching it on google.
Anybody?
you mean to get the value of arc(sin(1)) ?
I've never heard anything about arc. I was told to use reverse sin and that it would be marked as sin -1.
sin^-1 -1 is the power, right ?
Possibly? I'm going into it blind, I just know its the sine button, but shifted with the -1 bit. It quite possibly is the power.

the way they wrote it, it does look like an exponent
it says to press shift sine to get it
actually, reverse of sine helps us to find the angle if the value of sine is known
in my instance, I'm using SOH to find an angle that is unknown. The problem turns into sin times the variable equals 3 over five. So that turns into variable =sin^-1 (3/5)
but I need to calculate that exact answer, so how do I do that on a scientific calculator?
just click 3 : 5, then click 2nd, then click asin, then =
Ok, thank you. It was the pressing 2nd that I didn't know. I wasn't sure which button changed the keys.
you're wlcome ;)
