Please Help!!! I'll give a MEDAL to anyone who tries!! If you have ever swum in a pool and your eyes began to sting and turn red, you are aware of the effects on an incorrect pH level. The pH level measures the concentration of hydronium ions and can be modeled by the function p(t) = –log10 t. The variable t represents the amount of hydronium ions, and p(t) gives the resulting pH level.

Water at 25 degrees Celsius has a pH of 7. Anything that has a pH lower than 7 is called acidic, while pH's above 7 are basic or alkaline. Seawater has a pH just over 8, while lemonade has a pH of approximately 3. 1. Create a graph of the pH function. Locate on your graph where the pH value is 0 and where it is 1. You may need to zoom in on your graph.-

I don't understand what there asking but I did graph it

OpenStudy (trisarahtops):

this is what my graph look like but is the question asking for anything else?

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

Your graph looks good. I think it's asking you what the value of p(t) is when t = 0 and t =1.

OpenStudy (trisarahtops):

well my techer send something about but i didn't understand her. Here let me show you gemme a sec

OpenStudy (trisarahtops):

"In the function p(t) stands for the pH level and will be on the y-axis. The t stands for the amount of hydronium ions and will be on the x-axis. You will graph the basic function -log(10)x and then find the x value where y=3D0 and y=3D1."

OpenStudy (trisarahtops):

i graphed it but what she mean by "find the x value where y=3D0 and y=3D1."? O_o

OpenStudy (trisarahtops):

@shamil98 @timo86m @eliassaab @beccaboo333

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

what are "3D0" and "3D1"?

OpenStudy (trisarahtops):

that's what i thought
