OpenStudy (adamconner):

can someone describe the difference between a strong and a weak acid, and how this difference leads to equilibrium. And also what steps can be taken to minimize this effect?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I know one difference is the dissociation magnitude. Strong acids dissociates completely and weak acids partially. http://www.chemguide.co.uk/physical/acidbaseeqia/acids.html I think it also mentioned the equilibrium there.
