yeah i did but i can never get the right answer. the denominator sqrtB-1 always ends up 1-sqrtB
but i need it as \[(\sqrt{A}+1)/(\sqrt{B}-1)\]

do you know that 75=30+45 yes ?
and you know that tan x = (sin x)/(cos x ) yes ?
yup
and u know again formula sin(a+b) = ? and cos(a+b)=?
so using these you can calculi tan 75 = ? easy ok ?
ok but every time i try i can never get the form i need
try it here please for i can check your calculi ok ?
shouldn't i just use tan(a+b)?
you can using it the same like sin/cos than you know the needed values for tan 30 and tan 45 and you need to know formula tan(30+45)= ? formula tan(a+b)=?
\[\tan(a+b)=(\tan(a)+\tan(b))/(1-\tan(a)\tan(b))\]
it ends up being (sqrt(1/3)+1)/(1-sqrt(1/3))
ok than just you need to know tan 30 = ? and tan 45 = ?
tan(45)=1 tan(30)=sqrt3/3
so than you just need substitut these values inside this formula of tan (30+45)= ... ok ?
i did but as i said before the answer you get is sqrt(1/3)+1/1-sqrt(1/3). the answer i need is sqrt(A)+1/sqrtB-1
sqrt(1/3) = ?
= 1/(sqrt3) = sqrt3 / 3 yes ?
so than will be there sqrt3 /3 +1 ------------- = ? 1 - sqrt3 /3 ok ?
can you continue it ?
the thing is i need the answer in (sqrt(a)+1)/(sqrt(b)-1) from!!!
yes will get the same answer than you continue
sqrt3 /3 +1 ------------- = (sqrt3 +3)/3 / ( 3 - sqrt3)/3 = (sqrt3 +3)/(3- sqrt3) 1 - sqrt3 /3 ok ?
ok but the denominator should be sqrtB-1 not anything else. i am looking for B also the A in the numerator
do you can rationalize the denominator ?
but that would ruin the form. we need the sqrt there
you need the form of sqrt a +1 --------- sqrt b -1 yes ?
yes
sqrt a is =sqrt b ?
maybe. a and b could or could not be equal
sqrt3 +3 (sqrt3 +3)(sqrt3 +3) -------- = ------------------- = 3 - sqrt3 9-3 you know these values of tan 30 and tan 45 correct,right sure ?
yes
and you need getting the form sqrt a +1 -------- sqrt b - 1 yes ?
yes
you have wrote above these it ends up being (sqrt(1/3)+1)/(1-sqrt(1/3)) yes ?
so looke please from these what you have got so than you simplifie it you get the right answer i did but as i said before the answer you get is sqrt(1/3)+1/1-sqrt(1/3). the answer i need is sqrt(A)+1/sqrtB-1 (1+sqrt3)/sqrt3 / (sqrt3 -1)/sqrt3 do you see it now ?
ok ?
no i still dont see it. what would A and B be?
sqrt3 +1 --------- sqrt3 - 1
thanks
my pleasure
