So the ta would be .0765 (because to convert from percent to decimal you move the decimal place over to the left 2 places...so 325.78 x .0765 = ?

Employers are req'd by law to withhold taxes from employee pay. This case is an example of that. (1) convert 7.65% to a decimal fraction. (2)Multiply $325.78 by that dec. fraction.
