How much copper sulfate pentahydrate (CuSO4 x 5H2O) is required to make 5mL of a 1.68M solution? I already have the molar mass of copper sulfate pentahydrate, which is 185.6g, and I have that 1.68mol (CuSO4 x 5H2O)/ 1L. I'm just not sure how to apply the math.

So, I converted the 5mL to L, which came out to be 0.005L and made my formula for molarity into 1.68mol/0.005L. I multiplied top and bottom by 0.005 to get mol by itself, and that came out to 0.084mol. I then had to convert that to grams, so I multiplied that by 185.6 (the molar mass) and I got 1.55, which I rounded up to 1.6 grams. Is this correct?
so you did \(Molarity=\dfrac{moles}{L}\rightarrow moles=L*Molarity\) then converted the moles to mass?
