Perhaps you want to multiply these brackets. am I right?

Do you know how to use FOIL Multiply the First terms, Outer terms, Inner Terms, and then the Last Terms in that order. then you just combine the like terms :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2n-3)(n+4) = 2n(n+4) -3(n+4) \[=2n^2 + 8n -3n - 12 = 2n^2 + 5n- 12 \] @lashae1995

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2n-3)(n+4) 2n^2 First 2n^2-3n Inner 2n^2-3n+8n Outer 2n^2-3n+8n-12 Last Now combine the like terms -3n+8n 2n^2+5n-12 Answer :D
