Joey is conducting an experiment in which he will roll a six-sided die, numbered 1 to 6, record its result, and then roll a ten-sided die, numbered 1 to 10. What is the probability that the result of the rolls is a two followed by an odd number?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so when rolling the six sided die , the die can land on 6 numbers - 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 So the probability that the die will land on 2 is 1/6 Now the 10 sided die can land on 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 The odd numbers being - 1,3,5,7, and 9 So the probability that it will land on an odd number is 5/10 or in other wards a 1/2

Sooo Probabilty of landing on 2*the probability of landing on an odd number (1/6)*(1/2)=1/12

That is my educated guess
