Explain how a polynomial with a GCF in all of the terms is factored differently from one without. Include an example in your explanation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well first off, a polynomial with a GCF in all terms can be simplified. For example in 10x^3+5x^2+20x+10, 5 can be divided into each term, so the equation can become 2x^3+x^2+4x+2 If there is no GCF in the equation it is usually solved in it's original form

Don't say "first off" . It is extremely poor grammar.
