1. how do scientists classify stars ? (1point ) A. by size , distance , and color b. by size , distance, and brightness c. by color , brightness, and distance d. by size , brightness, and temperature
Astronomers classify stars by color using a series of letters: O, B, A, F, G, K and M.Astronomers use another roman numeral at the end of the spectral letter to define the size and luminosity of a star. They range from I supergiants to V dwarfs, or main sequence stars. Because our Sun is a main sequence star, it would get the V designation. hope this helps..:)
oh! so its b
i think a...distance colour and size
but i wonder the differences of brightness, colour and temperature cus like @shrutipande9 says, there are 8 "colours" but the colour actually came from the temperature of the star like the red/ yellow star is colder than the blue one
ohh yes...u r right i guess....srry i m not good at this..but i tried to find an ans..:)
I'm just saying cus I'm not sure what are the differences and what does it mean by "distance"? the distance from Earth to the star?
