OpenStudy (anonymous):

convert the fraction and decimal to a percentage 85/100 =0.85

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Move the decimal two places to the right please...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Both as a percent are 8.5% I think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No wait 85%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A percent is part of a whole.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

@AnswerMyQuestions please read the code of conduct. http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

move the dot thing two times to the right and add a percentage sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The form of a percent is something over 100. This is already in that form of 85/100. Which means your answer will be 85%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@MathLegend It says not JUST give them an answer. That means you can explain to them and give them the answer. But, that is not what @AnswerMyQuestions did.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*not to JUST

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Muahahahaha! I mean.... Really? Sorry..

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

He just gave an answer right there. Tell me where was the explanation? Maybe I can't read.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Show me @greenlegodude57

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Show me @AnswerMyQuestions who does not know what the code of conduct is.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Maybe @mathmale can show me....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give Help, Not Answers I will encourage and guide those needing help, and not just give them an answer

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Maybe @phi can show me...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Notice this part: 'and not just give them an answer'

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

chill out...giving someone a break every now and then is not gonna hurt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^ What she said.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. @texaschic101 Is right. Just a few answers isn't that bad, is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

She has more experience too. 99 > 85. I can figure that out..

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

do not do it all the time, but everybody does it now and then

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Which is exactly what he did... don't sit here and deny what clearly was done. It takes away from every other poster trying to offer assistance @texaschic101... so please do not just say relax. It means something to uphold the code of conduct. You guys are the ones who may not care. That is fine with you because you don't care about someone else understanding. Stop being selfish.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@MathLegend I said he didn't do it. Re-read my comment above, please.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Should it not be stopped when it does happen? @texaschic101 if it is not stopped then these people will continue to do these things...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

READ THIS: @MathLegend It says not JUST give them an answer. That means you can explain to them and give them the answer. But, that is not what @AnswerMyQuestions did. Seriously, don't blame me for "not caring" when I said that he didn't hold the "code of conduct".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"@MathLegend It says not JUST give them an answer. That means you can explain to them and give them the answer. But, that is not what @AnswerMyQuestions did." That's what I wrote above.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

I'm glad you see the smartscore is greater. That is okay, it does not matter to me who has a greater smartscore. What matters is the guidelines which should be followed by any person who decides to create an account. @AnswerMyQuestions you need to seriously get it together. Well, I apologize @greenlegodude57 I read your response wrong. As for everyone else I hope you learn something from this experience. Plus, @AnswerMyQuestions you won't be there to take his test.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I agree that it is better to explain, then just give them the answer. But I have seen answers given by moderators and ambassadors....so do not be a hypocrit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We can tell people the answers as long as we explain it, that's what your "rule" states.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@texaschic101 I HAVE TO!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you can't blame someone just because someone in their group did something bad.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Indeed.
