Pentane with molecular formula C5H12, exists in three isomeric forms. One shows linear carbon chains, another has one -CH3 groups present on the third carbon atom, and the third has two -CH3 groups present on the second carbon atom. What types of isomers are these? Geometric isomers Structural isomers Halotropic isomers
@undeadknight26
@dacutiepie
i want to say that it is B or C
@dacutiepie
@Dmb1215
I will try my best to find it
ok
i think c not 100%
let me ask a friend of mine
which one do you thank it is
LoL seriously?
so B is the right one
I'm gonna explain each one to you and let you get your answer :) Isomer is when you use the same atoms for same equation just arranged diffrently
ok
Just so you know I'm throwing a few extras in so you can learn more
ok
Geometric isomers are two or more coordination compounds which contain the same number and types of atoms, and bonds (i.e., the connectivity between atoms is the same), but which have different spatial arrangements of the atoms.
Strucual isomers are molecules with the same molecular formula have bonded together in different orders, as opposed to stereoisomerism.
Stereoisomers are isomeric molecules that have the same molecular formula and sequence of bonded atoms (constitution), but that differ only in the three-dimensional orientations of their atoms in space
Want me to explain Halotropic or you think you got the answer?
is it C
Its A :x
ok i was not sure about it
LoL just take you time and pay attention in class more
Time will fly by. Sadly .-.
ok
