A student mixed two clear liquids together in a beaker and a solid precipitate formed. His data is shown in the table below. What is the mass of the beaker? 5 g 10 g 15 g 17 g 32 g (Picture attached below.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Intriguing picture. :)

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

Hold on it's not attaching. -_-

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

Liquid reactant A/ 10 g Liquid reactant B/ 17 g Beaker+solid product/ 32 g ( this is the image typed out.)

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

Are you gonna answer it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, well if there isn't any loss from the reaction, it's just an arithmetic problem. :) So the mass of the beaker = Beaker + solid product - (A + B) = 5

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

So it would be A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

thank bye, P.S. you take forever to type.
