Find the x-intercept for: 4x=2y-3 A.(-7,0) B. (2,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think if I was doing this problem I would first put it into standard form, and then substitute with zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the y-int is at where x = 0, so plug in 0 for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But I don't think it matters so you can just plug it in anyways

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Plug in y=0 and solve for x, to find the x-intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it has to be 2 than or am I wrong ?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

It will be neither A or B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm. I plugged in zero and ended up with -3/4 that is not one of the choices though

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The choices suck then.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hah. Agreed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they messed up than but thanks anyways for the help

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Is there really only two choices? Multi choice usually have 4 or 5. 2 is pretty easy, you could guess a lot.
