Okay so I just want to make sure i understand correctly. Can someone walk me through this please? 1)Draw a line segment and copy it to the right of the original segment. Explain your steps and justify each step used. 2)Bisect the original line segment from problem one. 3)Draw an angle and copy it to the right of the original angle. Explain your steps and justify each step used. 4)Bisect the original angle from problem three.

OpenStudy (nikato):

you want to show me what you did?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well that's the thing, after i draw a line segment what should the second one look like?

OpenStudy (nikato):

you should draw one exatly the same because you're copying. use your compass

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, then for bisecting, what's an example of what is should be written as

OpenStudy (nikato):

what do you mean by example of what it should be written as

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bisecting means?

OpenStudy (nikato):

bisecting means dividing in half such that both parts are equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and now everything is clear. lol thank you!

OpenStudy (nikato):

ok. no problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok how's this?

OpenStudy (nikato):

and WELCOME TO OPENSTUDY! haha. #latebutohwells and after you are done and satisfied with answers or help on your problem, remember to close the question. and if you like an answer or just feel like it, you can give a person a medal by clicking "best response"

OpenStudy (nikato):

ok. but which number is it? and how did you do it? did you use a ruler only?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's all numbers, i'm suppose to submit it onto one sheet. and yeah, i kinda dont own a compass... but is the concept correct?

OpenStudy (nikato):

yes. except for 3. you have one angle going one way and the other going the other. they should look identical when you're copying. and i think it would be easier for your teacher if you actaully label the problem #

oh okay, thanks! i never really liked math, it's too systematic for me. I'm the type of person that is always asking why? but why does that mean that? math always answers with, "because it does." but thanks again for the help! i have a much better understanding of this!

OpenStudy (nikato):

ok. no problem. glad to help. haha. i've always loved math until high school, but i still like it but not as much
