Who fitted giant stones together without the use of mortar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I looked around and found: Cyclopean Masonry. (I know nobody likes to link to Wikipedia, but it summarizes it nicely. Look elsewhere for sources to quote.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclopean_masonry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclopean_masonry#Locations_of_Cyclopean_structures (^ Places where it is found.) Did this help you?

no, the answers are maya, aztec or inca lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its inca but im not sure

I think you're right, it's Inca. The Incans built monuments and buildings out of huge stones without the use of mortar -- instead, they carved them up to match each other like puzzle pieces which made them extremely durable. Both the Aztecs and the Mayans used mortar.
